Jio 199 Postpaid Comparison With Airtel and Vodafone Postpaid Plans
|Jio||199||25GB||Unlimited Local, STD, and Roaming||Free|
|Airtel||399||20GB||Unlimited Local, STD, and Roaming||Free|
|Vodafone||399||20GB||Unlimited Local, STD, and Roaming||_|
Airtel’s infinity plan has free voice calling benefits, 20 GB 4G data, daily 100 SMS, and free Airtel Wynk Music subscription. However, the postpaid plan comes at a monthly rental of Rs 399.
Similarly, Vodafone’s enter level postpaid plan provides unlimited voice calls and 20 GB data at Rs 399. Meanwhile, the Vodafone Red plan doesn’t include free SMS. Both these plans don’t come with pre-activated ISD calling.
Jio Rs 199 plan is almost 50% cheaper in comparison to Airtel and Vodafone. It appears that Jio is all set to make a paradigm shift in the postpaid service same as the operator did with prepaid services. Recently, the telecom operator extended prime membership for existing users. It will be interesting to see whether the incumbents try to match the Jio postpaid offer.
